    Wedding dress, c.1914, belonged to donor's mother, Alice Louisa Jane Tunks, neé Glasson.

    The dress consists of three parts, a dress, veil and underskirt. The dress is a cream slipper satin dress with an overlay of cotton net, hand embroidered with a low bust line and short sleeves. There is a satin sash on the waist. The bodice is lined. The skirt is full with a slight train and cross-draped net overskirt. There is a white lawn underskirt, trimmed with lace and a net head veil.
