Information Desk Volunteers

Information Desk Volunteers

If you enjoy meeting people and helping them to make the most of their time in the Museum, you could become an Information Desk Volunteer. We need energetic people with excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to help others. A good knowledge of Auckland is also valuable.

The normal commitment is a regular half day per week on duty, and lasting at least a year, but preferably longer. We are particularly looking for applicants who can do weekends and school holidays, or who can be flexible with their availability. The Museum is open every day except Christmas day, including school holiday periods and public holidays.
