    • Sergeant Walter J. Cooper (missing) is 30 years of age. He was born in Kaitaia and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Cooper, reside at Kaingaroa, where Mr. Cooper, senior, was a school teacher from 1903 to 1906. Walter was a great footballer and represented Auckland province, and was a member of the New Zealand Maori team which toured Australia, He was included in many representative teams from North Auckland.
