One last time before the Sharks exhibition heads overseas, join Clinton Duffy, Curator of Marine Biology, and meet some of the denizens of the marine collections here at Auckland Museum. From the safety of your seat, dive deeper into the world of sharks with this guided talk, and even meet some of our most unique specimens like the Hammerhead Shark!

Double headed school shark (galeorhinus galeus) found in Whakatane

Come face-to-face with specimens collected from the waters surrounding Aotearoa New Zealand and the wider Moana Pasifika, and hear from an expert how sharks and rays come from the same family. See what makes sharks the evolutionary marvel they are, and learn why we need them for a healthy ocean.

Come to the shark side with Clinton, we promise they won't bite!

If you would like to visit the Sharks exhibition before or after the talk, tickets will need to be booked separately.  Tickets are available at a special 2-for-1 offer every Twilight Tuesday. Museum Members receive free entry to the exhibition.
