Our 2026/27 Annual Plan sets out the Museum’s priorities for the year ahead. As we approach the centenary of the Museum on Pukekawa in the Auckland Domain, we have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to celebrate its role as a leading cultural institution and war memorial, while reimagining what it can be for the next 100 years.
This opportunity is both significant and compelling. However, realising this vision will require us to address equally substantial challenges, particularly those associated with our ageing heritage building. This Annual Plan outlines how we will respond to these challenges while progressing our long-term aspirations.
